Region Örebro County Environmental Prize 2022

Congratulations to Folktandvården in Lindesberg and the project Folktandvården Direkt which won Region Örebro County Environmental Prize 2022!

Motivation of the jury:
“Through the development project Folktandvården Direkt, the clinic in Lindesberg has succeeded in changing to a way of working that saves both environmental and financial resources. The company’s contribution is a good example of how the ability to change its routines and working methods to a more flow-efficient way of forking, can generate positive effects from several sustainability perspectives.”

The positive environmental aspects are achieved by completing the patients to a great extent already at the first visit and a reduced number of patient visits per day at the clinic. This clearly means:

reduced number of patient trips, reduced consumption of disposable materials, fewer preparations and hygiene routines to be performed between each patient
